Winter Park offers some of the most spectacular riding in the western U.S. Whether you're a novice or an expert downhiller, there are plenty of trails for you to experience. With over 600 miles of trails throughout the Winter Park and Fraser areas, it's no wonder Winter Park has been dubbed Mountain Bike Capital USA™. For more info on trails, tours and bike rentals, visit the Official Trestle Bike Park website.
COLORADO'S LONGEST ALPINE SLIDE
The ALPINE SLIDE thrill begins with a six minute scenic chairlift ride on the Arrow. Memories of Olympic bobsledding come to mind, as you board your plastic alpine sled. Equipped with rollers and brakes, excitement becomes a reality as you feel the rush of the 610 foot vertical drop of the Alpine Slide. You are in control of your speed. Over 3,000 feet long, the heart-pounding track winds its way under the Arrow chairlift.
SCENIC CHAIRLIFT RIDES
Enjoy a scenic chairlift ride on the Zephyr Express, which will take you from the village at Winter Park up to an elevation of 10,700 feet. This ride offers spectacular views of the Continental Divide and the Fraser Valley. And at the top, The Lodge at Sunspot offers fantastic mountaintop dining including lunch and snacks. The Lodge at Sunspot is also an ideal location for weddings.
Come test your climbing skills on our outdoor climbing wall. Located between the Leaps and Bounds Bungee and the Alpine Slide, this activity delivers challenge, excitement, and adventure to your Winter Park Resort experience.
The recently-relocated disc golf course has been moved to the Discovery Park area of the mountain and is accessed via the Arrow chairlift. The 20 hole disc golf course works its way across ski trails with beautiful views of the Continental Divide. There is no charge to play the resort's disc golf course; however, there is a fee to ride the chairlift and to rent discs, if needed.
Located at the base of the resort, this maze twists and turns in every direction. Finding four check points and racing against the clock adds an extra dimension of challenge to the frequently re-configured labyrinth.
LEAPS & BOUNDS BUNGEE
Check out the Leaps & Bounds Bungee, which features four individual trampolines linked by one center tower. Jumpers slip on a special harness that is attached to a giant bungee cord on the tower. Once snugly secured into the harness, the acrobatics begin. Flips and twists are easy to perform with the help of the bungee cord.
Mountainside Mini Golf at the base of Winter Park has eighteen holes, each depicting historic aspects of the Fraser Valley.
Have you ever floated in space? The GyroXtreme is similar to the equipment designed by NASA for astronaut training, and used by many air forces to train their fighter pilots. Because the rider is always moving in three directions and the stomach stays at the center of the orbit, motion sickness does not occur. This unique attraction should not be missed. The GyroXtreme is located at the base of the resort.
T-BAR MINI ZIPLINE
The T-Bar Mini Zip Line is an adventure for children looking to get the heart pumping and giggles rolling.
MARY JANE MINERAL PANNING
Wtep back into the gold mining era of the Fraser Valley as the entire family pans for gems in the new wooden panning troughs of Mary Jane Mine Company Gem Panning.
BOUNCY SNOW CAT
Children can jump until they run out of energy in the Bouncy Snowcat named Anastasia, which is good news for both child and mom or dad!
